Boiler not re-fireing properly after hot water has been used?

Anyone help!
I have recently had a Betacom4 fitted (I know .Budget brand, but good deal from a mate of a mate). Everything was working fine at first but now put heating on in the morning, it fires up ok but when I run hot tap (I know water has priority) afterwards heating does not come back on as it should (thermostat temp not being reached) Boiler seems to go into some sort of tick over mode and stays like this all day, instead of getting to temp and switching off.
Appreciate any thoughts.
Especially from a gloworm engineer . Still under warranty should I get valiant service to check it out?

Thanks . Rootosh

Hi it could be a faulty pcb.
Maybe a sticking micro switch or diverter valve diaphragm worn. But could be many other things to. It would need someone to inspect it and rule out each fault to find the cause of the fault.

Get the installer back to inspect and diagnose the problem, how old is it and did a gas safe Enginer install it ?
