Unbalanced hot and cold water

Any ideas on how we can fix our downstairs shower?
Turns out the cold water to that room comes from a separate mains feed. While the hot water (and all water to rest of house) comes via a different feed which has a HomeBoost pump fitted.

So. Good pressure, hot water is winning the battle against the cold.
Thermostatic shower doesn't seem to do the trick. It just gets way too hot and shuts off completely.

So... aside from ripping out the walls to run a pipe from the pumped cold mains. Any ideas?

You should fit a pressure reducing valve & single check valves/ non return valves on the pipework

Most likely the pressure from the hot water is trying to push back up the cold water feed as it's running at a higher pressure. Most showers come with built in check valves that will close to stop this happening.
2 possible solutions as like above fit a pressure reducing valve onto the hot water feed and set it to the same pressure as the cold or maybe close the isolation valve on the hot water inlet to the shower slightly to reduce the flow of the hot water. It may work as it will allow more cold water to flow into the shower once turned on. Or finally even giving up a thermostatic shower and just going to a non thermostatic mixer. Where there's a will there's a way
