It would depend on what the outcome you require is although exstentions are slightly more expensive to build they are a more permanent structure it's really up to you what you want you can get a quote for both but normally conservatory will be cheaper but cheaper doesn't mean better there are lots of varying factors like are you staying in the house for a long time, is it an investment as exstentions can add more to you house price generally and can require less maintenance but it all depends on what your going to use the space for and will it be cost productive but more importantly practical for your needs
