Efflorescence problem

I have laid some grey/ blue Indian sandstone at the front of my house, about 10 dry days after laying I sealed the stone with Nexus 480 breathable sealer, looked fine for a few days, now half of the stone has gone white, efflorescence I believe! Will this go eventually or do I have to remove sealer, any ideas? Or have I messed up and they need replacing? Any advice much appreciated. Regards Chris

I would look at getting some brick acid at it dilute it pour it on and use a deck scrub to spread it and scrub over all the paving. Leave it for an hour then hose off
Leave it dry for a few weeks then seal it again

If it is efflorescence... which I doubt... a dry brush should be used ... water will only make it disappear while it's wet then make it worse...
I'm thinking whoever laid the slabs has uses cement and is now starting to show

If it is efflorescence I would try cleaning with a sponge and hot water first . Give it a couple of washes at least. Thing is Acid can discolour the paving itself so it would be a last resort for me .
