My neighbour built their extension without leaving a space
My neighbour did not leave five centimetre space in between the walls of our extension. If I envolve the council what is going to happen?

He can come as Close as to The Party line and council will do nothing as it’s on his land. If he go over the party line then you can take him to the court if he don’t agree to take it down. Worth using this wall if foundations are ok for the future extension on your side to save monies and increasing interior space but sounds like you have one already in place. Question is not well detailed so hard to advise but that’s the possible options available on the table based on the question and assumptions.

Council will have nothing to do with it, they will say it’s a civil matter
