Hi sounds like you have had a bad experience and by what you have described it is poor workmanship so is difficult to say what's needed without seeing it but one of the benefits of dry ridge is easy repairs as you can just unscrew and refit so by what you have described I personally would remove all the ridge tiles to make sure there are no other issues replace any missing battens and any damaged or wrong sized tiles with new and refit the dry ridge system as it should be fine to reuse this sounds like a large job but isn't and on an average 6mt ridge line it shouldn't cost any more than £150-£200 but this is an average as it depends on access, size of roof and extent of damage they have caused as I said someone would need to see to quote hope this helps lee
