Hi , a simple calc we use to determine cable size is total power of cooker 4.9kw then divide that by the supply voltage 230volts which equals 21amps ...so you will need a dedicated circuit for the oven run in 6mm cable from fusebox to cooker 45amp cooker switch which needs to be situated at least 300mm from hob ...then a 6mm cable from cooker switch to a 45amp connection unit behind the cooker ..then wire 2.5mm/4mm heat resistant brutal flex from connection unit to new cooker ...this whole circuit ideally needs to be backed up with a 30Ma RCD and 25 amp ncb circuit breaker and a domestic installation completion cert issued as its a new circuit
