Weird gap between shower door and tray

We have a 1cm gap between the side of the shower tray and the bottom of the shower cubicle doors.

It's really annoying as it gets a build up of gunk and looks awful, also really hard to clean. Best solution? Could we fill it with clear sealant?

By the sounds of thing the door are not fitted properly and need to be moved filling with silicon is a quick fix but not ideal
