I have an awful smell in the living room, it is not near the chimney breast, it is across the room towards the centre of the house, only in that room, when the windows are opened it seems to go however as soon as they are closed it comes back, it's been like this for over 6 months and it can be unbearable, I have called Severn Trent who advised to call out drain people and I've spoken to the local council pest control, however as I own my house they are not able to help.......Firstly I would like to know which trades person is best placed to advise me what it is, then I have no problem paying a reasonable price to get it sorted out, I am in Coventry and it has become urgent, I haven't called my buildings insurance company yet but will do once I have an idea as to who can help diagnose what the smell could be.需要人帮助吗
