As theses finishes are Scraped they leave slight indentations which allow small particles of water to build up over time this can result in Algae growth - However if after you have chose your render you apply Para Guard to the render , it does not affect the color but it will give a Lotus Leaf guard from the water sitting in the minor pits & stops algae growth occurring , on the subject of Beading I use plastic beading - on all my renders impervious to rust or staining that occurs with Stainless that can bleed into the renders especially on Headers or Run off areas on a Panel
