Working along side engineers and keeping in line with the program of works, attending meetings with the construction managers and dealing with the issues raised at ground level. I would supervise up to 30 men from a variety of trades. Although I enjoyed my time on the metro link sites, I think the responsibility I had made me realize that I wanted to work for myself, doing the work I most enjoyed. I started working for myself full time in January 2014 taking on different landscaping jobs mainly around domestic houses. I enjoy designing and building new gardens and driveways and have completed many successful projects this year, often surpassing the expectations of my customers.
